It has been a long time since I tried a first time recipe and enjoyed it so much. This was so good. I really didn’t think I liked fennel in this way but it was just part of an array of flavors that melted together to make a very, very special dish. I served it with mashed potatoes and it really let the flavors shine through. You could definitely make this for company and impress the socks off of your guests....
