I loved it! I did not use bacon ‘bits’ though, as the bacon seems rather salty these days. I popped in chopped mushrooms (guessed the weight) and a quarter of a large red onion, chopped up into small pieces. The sliced potato made it a little bit ‘different’ from the usual beef casserole. My little slow cooker makes enough for me to have a portion for tea and freeze the rest. Brilliant!
