My husband and I had been my waning to make this for some time and finally did tonight and OMG what were we waiting for? So good! Note that here it says a bamboo steamer is essential, but if you watch a video of Jamie making it, he just uses a metal colander over the pot to steam the aubergines and chilis. So, perhaps not so essential! Otherwise, this is absolutely spot on and excellent.
