Introduction
This drink is especially delicious and refreshing when fresh mangoes are in season, but a tasty alternative can easily be made using mango pulp from a tin, which is readily available throughout the year in Asian grocery shops.

| 2 | ripe mangoes, or 300ml mango pulp |
|---|---|
| 280ml | buttermilk |
| 10 | ice cubes |
| 300ml | milk |
| 2 tbsp | plain yoghurt |
| 2 tsp | caster sugar |
Essential kit
You will need a blender.
Method
If you’re using whole mangoes, remove the skin and the stone.
Put all the ingredients into a blender and mix together for about 2 minutes, until smooth.
Serve immediately in a tall glass.
