It has been a long time since I tried a first time recipe and enjoyed it so much. This was so good. I really didn’t think I liked fennel in this way but it was just part of an array of flavors that melted together to make a very, very special dish. I served it with mashed potatoes and it really let the flavors shine through. You could definitely make this for company and impress the socks off of your guests. Not only is it delicious but it’s beautiful in the pan. Mary Berry has earned my respect and gratitude. Can’t wait to try another recipe from this amazing woman.
